Instagram content for bakeries

A bakery has plenty to post about: what came out of the oven today, the weekend special, the story behind a recipe. The hard part is turning that into finished posts every week. InstaLoad writes the caption and designs the post or carousel from a one-line idea, and you schedule it.

crumbandco.bakery

crumbandco.bakery Saturday just got better. Our sourdough is back, baked slowly over 36 hours and ready from 7am. Pre-order by Friday noon and we'll set a loaf aside for you.

Post ideas

  1. Today's fresh batch

Show what is coming out of the oven this morning, with the name of each item and when it is ready. A simple single-image post works well because the message is short.

  2. Weekend special

Announce the one item you only make on Saturdays or Sundays, and say if people should pre-order. Schedule it on Thursday so regulars can plan.

  3. How we make our signature loaf

A carousel with one step per slide: ingredients, mixing, resting, baking, slicing. People like seeing the work behind a product they buy.

  4. Order for your event

Explain how to order a cake or a tray of savory snacks for a birthday or office meeting: how far ahead to ask, what to include in the message, how pickup works.

  5. Meet the baker

Introduce someone on your team, what they make, and their favorite item on the counter. It gives the account a human face.

  6. Seasonal menu

Present the items that change with the season or a holiday, one per slide, with a short description of flavors and sizes.

  7. Pairing guide

Suggest what goes with what: a pastry with a coffee, a loaf with a cheese. It helps new customers decide what to order on their first visit.

An example week

  1. Monday

Meet the baker: a single-image post introducing one team member.

  2. Tuesday

Carousel: how we make our signature loaf, step by step.

  3. Wednesday

Pairing guide: what to order together on your next visit.

  4. Thursday

Weekend special announcement, with pre-order instructions.

  5. Friday

Today's fresh batch, scheduled for early morning.

What to post as a bakery

Mix three kinds of posts: the product (what you sell and when), the process (how it is made), and the people (who makes it). Product posts bring in orders, process and people posts give a reason to follow.

Keep each post about one thing. A carousel that explains one recipe step by step is easier to read than a post that tries to cover the whole menu.

How InstaLoad helps

You describe your bakery once and set your brand kit with colors, font and tone of voice. After that, typing something like "Saturday special: cinnamon rolls, pre-order until Friday" gives you a caption, hashtags and a designed post, with a photo from the free stock library or your own upload.

Your own photos usually work best for baked goods, so upload them when you can. The editor shows a live preview and what you see is what gets published. Everything is editable, so you can fix a price or an opening hour before scheduling.

What to watch out for

Stock photos of bread are not your bread. Use them for general or educational posts, and use your own photos when you are showing an actual product.

InstaLoad does not show analytics, so test for yourself: try a different day or time for a few weeks and notice which posts get more replies and visits. Publishing needs an Instagram Business or Creator account.

Questions

Can I use my own photos of my bread and cakes?

Yes. You can upload your own photos and use them on any slide or single-image post. Stock photos from the free library are there for when you do not have a suitable picture.

Can I schedule the whole week in one sitting?

Yes. You can create several posts, pick a date and time for each, and see them in the week view. Nothing is published until you publish or schedule it.

Can the captions sound like my bakery?

You set a tone of voice in the brand kit, for example warm and familiar, and the AI writes captions in that style. You can edit any text before it goes out.

Can a bakery also make Reels?

Yes. Reels are included in every plan, which is useful if you want to turn a video of the kitchen into short clips. Basic posts and carousels never use credits; only Reels do.
